An impressive game that shows off what the Master System is capable of very nicely, with 3D scrolling effects, parallax multi-layer scrolling, lots of color, large, well detailed and well animated sprites, good sound effects, great soundtrack with some faithful 8-bit adaptations of songs from the movie, good controls, forgiving gameplay with unlimited continues and no timer ticking down, it feels like a much more modern title than it is.

Every time I play it I have to remind myself I'm not playing a Mega Drive, PC Engine or Super Nintendo game.

During the first running segment it's easiest to avoid the annoying bouncing barrels if you keep near the middle of the screen and run forward as soon as they appear, then you'll more easily run under them and avoid taking the unwanted hits.
