A quick playthrough of the first two tracks of Sega NASCAR Racing running on Demul 0.582 emulating the Sega Hikaru arcade board. This latest revision of the emulator has been out since October last year, but I've only got around to downloading it over the last couple of days. I thought the only change was the new full-screen mode for the Hikaru games, but this game does actually look quite significantly different to the old revision. Improved graphics in some areas, slightly worse graphics in other areas and a slightly lower frame rate compared to before (previously getting 60-55fps, now it's averaging around 50fps). The sound is still a bit mangled but now it's mangled in a different way. These aren't complaints BTW, just observations. The game is totally playable as it is and is fantastic work by the DEMUL team. All gameplay here is for emulator demonstration purposes only, not to show off record breaking times or anything.
