Running very well on Dolphin 4.0, full 60 fps, no slow down even with FRAPS recording in the background. Cool stuff.

This game does a lot of stuff right; it looks amazing, it's FAST, like REALLY FAST, it's got an awesome soundtrack and the bike engine noises are great (reminds me a lot of Tron and Akira) and it handles well. What really bugs the hell out of me about it though are the CPU opponents. They are rubber bandy as hell and are all absolute dicks. They will always follow this pattern when overtaken; They will shoot at you a bit and then use their boost to overtake you back, every fucking time. This means you always need to boost past them to overtake and then get enough space between you and them to stop them immediately re-overtaking you. If you've run out of boost, you CANNOT overtake the bike in front, they will re-overtake you every time. This gets particularly frustrating on the higher speed classes, especially when the CPU opponents start getting a bit trigger happy with their mines.

It's not too much of an issue in the lower speed classes, but I personally felt it really started to sap a lot of the fun from the game in the higher ones. Why can't those bastards just stay overtaken once they've been overtaken?
