On this episode we are looking back at Planet Harriers from Sega. It runs on the Sega Hikaru arcade board...which is the big brother to both the Sega Dreamcast AND the Sega NAOMI. Sadly its an almost lost video game as cabinets are near impossible to find, emulation barely works and the arcade boards themselves are VERY fragile and near impossible to repair.
For a game made by Sega that is an offshoot of the Space Harriers franchise...its very weird this never got brought home to Dreamcast or PS2. It's one of the few games I cannot find for my video game collection...making me a sad retrogaming fan!
But its basically a mix of Space Harriers and After Burner except in full 3D on Dreamcast era game console hardware...and its one fun game!
But for Sega its a very rare and hard to find video game...just how I like em!
