Big Ape Energy! Ape Escape 3! One of PS2's Absolute Best 3D Platform Games of All Time
0PS2 has some awesome retro games on the system and a ton of 3D Platformers but for my money one of my favorites is Ape Escape 3! I’d consider it a PS2 best games qualifier for sure! Retro gaming ape edition on PlayStation

Up Next: Ape Escape 3, also known as Saru Get You! in Japan. It's a wild 3D platformer ala Crash Bandicoot or Spyro the Dragon mixed with a touch of Super Mario 64 / Super Mario Sunshine...except its on PlayStation 2, was developed by Japan Studios...and features a ton of apes! Honestly they look like monkeys to me but what can I say?
But its one of my favorite 3D platformer franchises of all time and its such a piece of video game history on the Sony front as it showed what "PlayStation" was like compared to the competitors when it came to cute mascot games!
and don't forget the original came out on PS1 if you want to trace the history of the series!
