SEKIRO - DRAGON'S HOMECOMING SECRET ENDING GUIDE

STEP 1. Dealing with The Monk

-The first available thing you can do for this quest is in SENPOU TEMPLE. Find the CRYING MONK leaning against a tree from the SENPOU TEMPLE, MT. KONDO SCULPTOR'S IDOL and talk to him. He wants a PURE WHITE FLOWER, which is an item you can find for him.

-To find this "WHITE FLOWER", get to the SHUGENDO Sculptor's Idol in Senpou Temple. Travel up the moutain until you get to the big bridge where the armored warrior is fought. You'll find an area with a ton of pinwheels on it. This is where you can get the RED AND WHITE PINWHEEL. DO NOT GIVE THE MONK THIS ITEM, the ending WILL BECOME UNAVAILABLE IF YOU DO.

Below this cliff there's a sort of secret passage that you can follow to get the item you REALLY WANT, the WHITE PINWHEEL.

-Now return to the CRYING MONK and give him the WHITE PINWHEEL. At this point he asks you to SPIRIT HIM AWAY. YOU CANNOT DO THIS until you get the DIVINE ABDUCTION Prosthetic, which is obtained from the SUNKEN VALLEY SHRINE.

-Another thing you'll want while in SENPOU TEMPLE is the HOLY CHAPTER: INFESTED which you get from a priest at the MAIN HALL Sculptor's Idol. DO THIS BEFORE DEALING WITH GENICHIRO!

-Once you have DIVINE ABDUCTION, use it on the CRYING MONK and he'll be taken.. someplace else.

STEP 2. DEALING WITH THE DIVINE CHILD

-At this point, you'll need access to the DIVINE CHILD at SENPOU TEMPLE, who is only available after DEFEATING GENICHIRO at ASHINA CASTLE, then DEFEATING the SCREEN MONKEYS at SENPOU TEMPLE. She grants you the MORTAL BLADE, which is an important plot item, but she is also necessary for getting this ending.

-Before we do anything else with her, you need to the HALL OF ILLUSIONS to finish up our business with the CRYING MONK. Travel to the DIVINE CHILD'S area and find a glowing pillar of light. That will let you return to the HALL OF ILLUSIONS.

-Now talk to the MONK and he'll give you a TARO PERSIMMON, which is necessary for getting this ending.

-NOW return to the DIVINE CHILD and talk to her. Request RICE until you get to a point where she seems sick. Talk to her when she's sick and you're given the option to "GIVE PERSIMMON", so give her one. This isn't the TARO PERSIMMON, it'll just be a regular one, so make sure you have at least 1 in your inventory.

-Do all this and she'll give you RICE FOR KURO.

-Now return to ASHINA CASTLE and give KURO the rice. RESET the area once and talk to KURO again, he'll give you a SWEET RICE BALL. Eat it in front of him to get some extra dialog.

-Return to the DIVINE CHILD and talk to her. NOW she'll explain her plan to separate from the Dragon lineage rather than SEVERING IT. At this point you can give her the TARO PERSIMMON, so do that.

-RESET the area and you'll find she's gone. HEAD TO THE HALL OF ILLUSION to find her. Speak to her here and she'll inform you about a HIGH SENPOU PRIEST who knows the secret of DRAGON SEPARATION.

-Head into the cave to the LEFT of the MAIN HALL Sculptor's Idol and follow the path leading up to where the SENPOU STYLE SCROLL is kept. You should find the corpse of the HIGH PRIEST along that path with an item beside it: HOLY CHAPTER: DRAGON'S RETURN.

STEP 3. PERSIMMONS OF THE SERPENT

-Now return to the divine child and she'll give you the final objective: obtain 2 persimmons of the serpent.

-The 1st serpent heart is obtained from the SENPOU TEMPLE, MT. KONDO Sculptor's Idol. Find the spot where a single FLEA MAN and a kite are. USE THE PUPPETEER NINJUTSU on the FLEA MAN, he'll automatically extend the kite.

-Now run to the Great tree in the next area and use the KITE to cross the chasm. There's some more perilous jumps ahead, but keep going and you'll find yourself situated above the GREAT SERPENT. Perform a DIVING ATTACK to kill the beast and get the FRESH SERPENT VISCERA.

-The NEXT VISCERA is obtained in the SUNKEN VALLEY. TRAVEL INTO THE CAVE beside the poison swamp at the bottom of the valley, you'll find another serpent there that's made it's nest. It won't attack you in this first section as long as you don't attack it.

-Travel through the cave until you get to the end with the SNAKE'S HEAD. It will attack if you go any further. Fall down to the LEFT to find a single MONKEY. Use the PUPPETEER NINJUTSU on it to distract the snake, allowing you to grapple into the old shrine. In the SHRINE you'll find the DRIED SERPENT VISCERA.

-Now just return to the DIVINE CHILD and give her both serpent visceras.

STEP 4. THE END

-At this point, she'll lock herself in her room and won't speak to you. You cannot return until you've gained access to the FOUNTAINHEAD PALACE, but if you have then reset a few times to get her to open her doors again. Talk to her to get the FROZEN TEARS.

-Now, after defeating the final boss, Give him both to finally unlock this ending!
