So, my thoughts on the game? I thought the combat system was quite an improvement over Dark Souls, although of course it could always use more work. Overall I quite liked it, and would like to see more similar combat from From Software in the future, and potentially adding more depth to it as time goes on. As for everything else? The game felt good, the bosses were satisfying, the story isn't my thing in games usually (although I will say the Shura ending is the most well done, in my opinion). Overall wasn't too challenging for me. It wasn't extremely easy, and was decent, but certainly nothing that I'd personally consider hard. The game, like I said, does provide a challenge by requiring you to learn the combat and boss/enemy patterns, and the combat overall felt better designed and more satisfying than Dark Souls in my opinion. It does feel like it has less depth in terms of RPG mechanics and things to do than Dark Souls, but overall I'd say that as any game, it should be treated as its own thing. Plus the combat (melee) I found that at it's core, is quite diverse and good.
