GOTY for me just got released a little over a week ago. If you're expecting a fast movement shooter or something like Serious Sam then I'm sorry to say you'll likely be disappointed. If however you're a fan of early 2000's shooters like Half Life 2, DOOM 3, Quake IV, and F.E.A.R., then this is the game you've been waiting for.

There's tons of references to classic 90's, 2000's, and more recent boomer shooters; gameplay is a mix of visceral F.E.A.R. style combat against intelligent enemy AI and in depth level exploration for keycards, secrets, easter eggs, and many more surprises along the way.

While there isn't much in the way of a story, there is lots of worldbuilding and environmental storytelling to be found as you make your way through these beautifully crafted levels.

I apologize if the gameplay isn't what you were expecting or if you think the whole thing is boring; it's definitely meant to be enjoyed on an individual level and as such I definitely took my time getting through it.

If you do end up watching and enjoying this playthrough, then I'm happy to have shown off this awesome game to you.
