Senran Kagura Shinovi Versus: Crimson Mission 1-01: Training At Dawn (Homura)
The Crimson Girls' Ninja Room is a makeshift one from a cave, unlike the other team's rooms which are stationed within their schools. Nonetheless, this hideout's music is the chillest of all 4 Ninja Room themes in the game.
Also, since these 5 girls are no longer a part of a school, they're the only team in the game that don't wear school uniforms, and instead just wear casual clothes that match their personalities. You can have them wear their Hebijo uniforms in the Dressing Room for old times' sake, though.
----------
The Crimson storyline of this game starts out similarly to the Hanzo storyline. It starts as a more casual approach to the Crimson Girls' daily lives before things start to heat up in the next chapter.
Homura thinks deeply to herself about something, which attracts the attention of all of her friends to see what their leader is planning. Haruka personally thinks that she's overthinking herself and calls her out on it.
Homura then decides that the team needs to do some training, and she insisted that Mirai will be her first sparring partner, and she wasn't willing to let her prep herself up first with a breakfast. Mirai reluctantly accepts the offer.
----------
Homura is a wildcard with a fiery personality to match. As her whole team shot off from Hebijo, all of their spirit animals are different kinds of snakes. For Homura, her snake is the Japanese Rat Snake. True to her personality, she wields the element of Fire.
Homura's unique in that she actually changed her shinobi outfit starting with this game, because her original outfit was just the Hebijo uniform with bracers added to her arms. Nonetheless, she keeps her Wolverine-esque fighting style of slicing and dicing with 6 katanas, 3 in each hand.
Her primary Secret Ninja Art is a Charge, where she slashes around at in quick succession.
Seems simple enough, but it's her secondary art you REALLY need to watch out for. It transforms her into Crimson Homura, where her hair becomes loose and it and her eyes become a fiery red. In this form, she will only attack using the 7th longsword she carries on her back, and she is also completely invincible. This all lasts for a few seconds, but if you're trying to shred clothes with it, you can only do so from the explosion of the initial transformation.
----------
For Mission 1-01 of the Crimson storyline, simply use Homura to beat Mirai. My PC seems to hate the area this fight takes place in, as it tends to lag until cut-ins, like Shinobi Transformations or clothing damage, happens.
----------
Almost... predictably, Homura beats Mirai in their sparring match. Mirai excuses herself of not being up to bat, which encourages Homura to take her on again to work her up some more.
Mirai protests about this, so Homura finally lets her take a breather. She then aims her attention at Hikage, but she left. So Homura wanted to take on Yomi and Haruka, too, but nope. They're gone, too... Homura thought that the other 3 went off to train on their own, though in reality they were probably just hiding from her.
So Homura decided to have another sparring match with Mirai after all. Poor Mirai is not pleased... In fact, she's really pissed at the others for leaving her...
