At long last, we have the Void Guard completed. Due to the brief nature of the game, you can see how simple this unlock is. Sadly, it does have a fail condition, so if you're not careful, you could find yourself locked out and forced to restart.

Your objective is to play at least 1 equipment and ongoing go into play, and your equipment cards must always outnumber your ongoings. The unlock says nothing about whether parity would count, so I imagine not, and I don't want to deal with the devs since they are usually in a pissy mood.

Now about the game, I had a somewhat unlucky start since I had to pick up cards since turn 1, but I did get some draws to help offset that. Wraith never got to use her base power, but I did start with a lot of the cards I needed.

Stuntman is here to bypass the damage reduction and provide a constant assault. Chrono and Wraith are here for damage reduction and supplementary damage. Tempest is here for tanking capability and healing. Finally, Writhe is here since we need his unlock, but he can also block Spite's healing.

Since Spite was never allowed to heal, you get a somewhat fast game. Sadly, I did not get to use the Celestial Tribunal at all since Spite was destroying their cards since the first turn, but we did get a clutch play out of Wraith, so there is that.

Anyway, we're done with the variants for now. Next, we wait for the final expansion and tackle the final 6.
