Sentinels of the Multiverse - OblivAeon vs. XPW AA/Luminary/F6 Bunker/Lifeline/Dr. Medico
With some down time on the 4th of July, I decided to give the game a whirl and see what the end result would be. I was not exactly expecting the game to be as brief as it was, but luckily it wrapped up before the fireworks got too bad.
Sadly, there isn't really a big strategy for us to fall back on. Adept gets nuked hard early, which allows Stuntman to join the fray, but he doesn't really come to life until near the very end. I play the bot shuffling game and finally use the 3rd Doomsday Device legitimately, unleashing a horde of devices. Crimson takes his shots here and there while Lifeline ignites and Medico keeps us patched up.
I'm kind of surprised we managed to save all of the environments, but we had a few lucky breaks here and there that allowed us to save one of them. Overall, I am a little surprised Atlantis did not get nuked, and more so that this is probably the friendliest the environment has ever been to me.
Anyway, I am not going to be returning to Sentinels anytime soon, so this will have to hold over the fans for the long foreseeable future. I don't know if the Cauldron will be making an appearance of if we'll get Earth Prime. Until then, I guess we can enjoy the 4th, and see if I can get around to doing another holiday game in the future.
