This is the second half of the unlock with the first part not pictured due to how simple it is. For all of the Freedom 6 members, you must first lose a game while using them against Iron Legacy. To optimize this, I recommend making a team with three of them and sending the two pairs into him so he can beat them down quickly.

Once you have that loss recorded, you then can unlock each of the variants one by one. Ultimately, you need them to get KOed during a fight with a few of their cards having been played. In the case of Tempest, it is Reclaim from the Deep, Aquatic Correspondance, and Localized Hurricane. The trick then is winning with only that one hero KOed and none of the others, so I recommend bringing guys who can heal with him or just choosing a villain who will stick to him until he goes down.

I plan on fighting against Baron Blade for all of the unlocks except potentially Absolute Zero since I don't know his specifics yet, and I will most likely want the Scholar also. If you've been wondering how to get the Haka Smash achievement, I do get it here with the game ending blow from Scholar. My strategy to take down the Baron really was to just let Tempest go down, ideally have Absolute Zero flip him, then have Scholar blow him away by discarding by hand. Not too complicated in the grand scheme of things I guess.
