This time around, we have ultimate Gloomweaver standing in our way, and with the team we have, he won't be too much of a problem.

Your goal here is to get a tank, which is either going to be Mist Form Nightmist or Cocoon Visionary. Leave the Zombies alone, otherwise he'll heal a lot whenever you kill a cultist, and you will want to kill the Acolytes and Zealots.

Nightmist can do a few spells, but she doesn't have the support here to really shine. Here and there you may be able to use your Nemesis bonus, but you'll run out of gas and that will be that.

Idealist can do quite a bit here. Karate Robot isn't as good due to advanced rules on Gloomweaver, but you can use the Stabby Knives to still hit him and also hit a cultist if you feed it. I wanted to get Monster of Id out somewhat early for the damage boost, but I couldn't get it. Sadly, that caused things to last a little bit longer since I missed out on an extra damage each round and had to divert resources away from Gloom.

Visionary is the tank here and we only come out to give Chrono Twist the Ether before Adept helps her back in. With Mist Form and Starshield, it is possible for Nightmist to tank later on, but the game did not last long enough for that to happen.

Adept has some unique duties here. You do not get the songs or instruments you need, so you need to rely on his power and one-shots to accomplish stuff. He can help Visionary and Nightmist set up, which I recommend you do, then he can do chip damage here and there. By Any Means will make the Scherzo his most damaging attack, but Gloom died before I could show that.

Chrono is going to be your heavy hitter once he has the Ether at his disposal. Skip your first turn so you can grab your Hat and gun, then go to work. I started with the Dart Thrower since it is the safer option, but in the end, it didn't matter if you grab the Bow immediately. Drop your bounties, convert your attacks to a different element, play Hunter and Hunted, and Gloom will cave under his pressure. There isn't any significance for this variant, so any Chrono could have worked.

As for the environment, with the Cocoon in place, the Void Creature isn't a threat. Prune the Bubbles a bit, and they will help you immensely, hitting Gloom every turn. Just be careful when Time Crawls as things could get a little rough. Nightmist, Idealist, Adept, and Chrono can all clear it, but only Nightmist can really do so easily.

Anyway, it says Ultimate, but this one isn't that bad. I imagine most people won't have trouble with it, provided they stop to think about why certain heroes are here. Lastly, I did ask a couple questions near the end of this video, so if you have any strong feelings, drop a line and we'll see what the future holds.
