September Computers laptop amendium Part 4
1Okay so the 4th part, I did get the CPi to stop having a mild stroke and be able to do some stuff almost immediatly after I started to copy over the other video to my PC for editing.
I actually was able to do some stuff but it was really slow, due to only 64 meg of RAM, however I was sure both RAM chips were 64Meg modules, so when I was messing around with it later on that evening I found that one of the RAM ports is slightly dirty, so now the system specs are

4.8 gig 4300 RPM IBM Travelstar
Neo Magic 2MB SGRAM DirectDraw gfx
Crystal Sound
Current OS WindowsXP Home SP2.

In all the time I was fiddling with it on the evening which I said I wasn;t gonna do but I did I never once got the fan to go and I had that thing churning away for ages. Also the battery give a good solid 2 to 4 hours use which is better than my battery for the Latitude CPx J650GT that I have.
