A gameplay video from Serious Sam Classic: The First Encounter, that is using the OpenSource Vulkan Engine (version 1.10.5 from June 2023). Since then a newer version was released with numerous bug fixes and add-ons), but still, this did works for me on this computer configuration.

What you need to know about Serious Sam Classic: First Encounter? Well, the original game was developed in 2001 by CroTeam, a Croatian developer in Europe and published by Gathering of Developers. It was a big success. Since then Serious Sam became a big franchise and the developer was bought by Devolver Digital, their later partner and publisher.

Serious Sam Classic is an first person shooter with wide levels, similar to Painkiller, Necrovision on other shooter games.
