My Serum demo / first impression covers the intro of the scheduled Q2 2024 release of this early access, survival, action-adventure game.

With the demo being released along with the Steam Next Fest event, I had to try it. I think the opening is really strong in building the plot, the graphics are very detailed and immersive. The performance of the game could stand a bit of improvement but given this is a demo and technically an unfinished product the game still performs decently with settings that if changed can improve your experience. I do hope they tweak some of the quality-of-life aspects regarding the timer that is constantly impeding your progress, so much so that you don't even have time to read the notes and fully get immersed in the story.
