After a nearly decade-long partnership, new episodes of “Sesame Street” will no longer air on Warner Bros. Discovery’s streaming service, Max. The company has opted not to renew its deal with Sesame Workshop, the non-profit organization behind the iconic children’s program according to a report from The Hollywood Reporter.

While Max will continue to offer episodes from the “Sesame Street” library through 2027, the upcoming 55th season will be the last to debut on the streamer. This decision comes as Max shifts its focus away from children’s content and towards more adult and family-oriented programming.
