To enable Bluetooth Device Discoverability In Windows 10
Go to the Settings app and click the Devices group of settings. Click the Bluetooth tab, scroll down to the ‘Related Settings’ and click ‘More Bluetooth options’.
This will open the Bluetooth settings window. In the very first tab ‘Options’ you will see a ‘Discovery’ section with an ‘Allow Bluetooth devices to find this PC’ option. Check the option, and click the ‘Apply’ button at the bottom for it to take effect. You won’t need to confirm the change nor restart your system for it to take effect. The only warning you get to any potential security risk that might arise as a result of this change is an alert message below the ‘Allow Bluetooth devices to find this PC’ option that says other devices will be able to see the name of your PC.
