Setting a New Standard for Gaming in 2024
2In 2023 and the beginning of 2024, we've seen several games start to change the landscape of what gaming can be. We had Baldur's Gate 3 that proved that RPG's can have deep, expanding storylines that are unique to each playthrough. We had The Finals that introduced a significant change to the arena shooter with destructible environments, an impressive battle pass system and unique game modes we hadn't seen before. We had Palworld, that took several great concepts and melded them into one game worth dropping hours into. Finally, we had Helldivers 2 which has ushered in a new way to keep coming back for a co-op experience with a global conflict that you can't miss out on.
