Settling the Score | Home Wind (Calm City Builder)
226Home Wind is a gorgeous relaxing city builder game, where we get to place down things like homes and farms in order to gain points, and if we get enough points we unlock more things to place onto the map.
Things are made interesting by the fact that the map is alive, so animals wander about the place and they can give us extra points if we build our houses with them nearby! But of course, animals can wander off...
We play the prosperity mode, which is the classic mode of completing one level before moving to the next, and we start off small, just placing down a town centre and a few houses.
Soon enough we're moving through the levels and we get to place things like lumbermills and mines, but of course we have competing demands because if we put mines near homes we lose points, and as we work our way through the levels the points requirements to proceed get higher and higher.
Also at the end we have a dabble with the Sandbox mode, which allows us to create a city however we like it, no questions asked! Marvellous!
