The Kingroon KP6 resin printer was available for just over $160 so I decided to give resin a try. Do note that you need to buy resin as it does not ship with any. You also need a way to cure the resin. I snagged a DIY resin curing box. A video of that will be coming soon. Switching to resin from FDM is like comparing darts and bowling... I was able to get a decent first print, but it was like learning a new language in the process.
