Setup Guide: Schiit Hel-2 DAC Setup for PS5 AND Xbox Series X
0I love the Schiit Hel-2. I have long championed it as the *BEST* DAC for consoles, and today, I'll show you how to use this DAC to get insane audio quality out of your Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X, and Sony PlayStation 5 -- without having to change any cables. Best of all, this solution allows you to, with minor ease, get full communication / microphone / party chat support with your PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X almost effortlessly.
This setup took me a long time to figure out, but it's future proof, and will even allow you to toggle between an external sound bar / sound system -and- your Schiit Hel-2 without having to constantly unplug in devices (for those times you don't want to wear headphones).
