Setup Thrustmaster joystick to play Starfield or any game that doesn't support Hotas

Unfortunately some games does not support hotas or joystick by default.

But we can use this software https://www.x360ce.com called x360ce, its a controller emulator it help me map any controller to an Xbox controller.

1. Download x360ce, extract it to any folder. You should see a file called x360ce.exe.
2. Run x360ce.exe as an administrator. Select "Controller 1" tab and click "Add".
3. If your hotas or joystick is detected by x360ce You could start mapping if not detected make sure everything is plugged in to Your PC.

Then configure the buttons and axes to match the Xbox controller layout for starfield. just clicking on each button or axis on the image of the Xbox controller and then pressing the corresponding button or axis, You should see a green highlight on the image when you do that. You can also adjust the sensitivity and deadzone of each axis

You can also save different profiles for different games,

Now launch Starfield and there are 1 thing that need to notice here, as You should now be able to use your hotas with Starfield, it also act as controller which sometimes it annoys me when on foot movement is interferee by the controller emulator. To tackle this go to settings swap between controller and put it off

oh and dont forget You need to let the x360e open every time you run the game
