It seems in this version of the game, the regular Setzer Dice calculations are wrong (Or fixed from the SNES version, who knows). Normal Dice have the same property as Fixed Dice regarding having all dice rolls being the same. At 1:22, hitting 6x6 gives us 9999, where in the regular game it should be 1800 but at Lv25 it hits for 10800 instead.

Calculation is :
Dice : Dice Roll 1 * Dice Roll 2 * Level * 2 = Damage
Fixed Dice : Dice Roll 1 * Dice Roll 2 * Dice Roll 3 * Level * 2

If all dice rolls are the same, (For Pixel Remaster version)
Dice : Dice Roll 1 * Dice Roll 2 * Level * 2 * Dice Roll 1 = Damage
Fixed Dice : Dice Roll 1 * Dice Roll 2 * Dice Roll 3 * Level * 2 * Dice Roll 1 = Damage

Normally on the SNES version, the regular Dice does not have this property. If both dice are the same on SNES, nothing new is added to the damage calculation.

In this video Setzer is Level 25, the 9999 comes from (6 * 6 * 25 * 2 * 6). On SNES the damage would be 1800. Hitting 5+5 hits 6250. Also Regular Dice can be bought from Kohlingen in World of Ruin which makes them very valuable. And hitting 2 of the same is higher chance from those dice so possible they are better than Fixed Dice now. 9999 Damage possible starting at Lv24.
