Shotgun Frenzy is one of the best mods available on Zandronum, blending RTS elements with Doom's classic run and gun play.

Sadly I came late to the party on this run, having only just decided to start keeping demos for videoing later. By the time I came in, all three sectors had been overrun, and the waves had progressed up to Barons of Hell and worse, making my little super shotgun not terribly effective.

So I spend the first six minutes farming what kills I can to get an upgrade point, in order to upgrade to explosive shells for the SSG, fantastic crowd wiping early on. And then by the time I do, the Cyberdemon and Archvile waves have started, and our commander gives the order to start the five-minute I WIN button.

Still, this is a good example of how Shotgun Frenzy usually goes. It's fucking awesome. You should join.
