I know it hurts peoples feelings but a character being evil, and throwing purple fireballs instead of blue ones is not a good story. Ryu final manga as well, you can like it all you want. But guess what. It makes no sense. Maybe you think its cool that ryu punched dudleys corkscrew blow in it, and it ripped his muscles off from the twisting of both their firsts. I admit that part was cool. But guess what. Thats not a story. Street fighter basically has no story anymore. Its garbage and nonsense. And none of the characters have any real arcs that make any sense. Theres no real reason for anyone to care about anyone. Any real reason you would have to care about anyone in the story of SF you have to make up in your own head cannon because its a complete cluster fuck.
