After the fatal incident back at the pizzeria, the animatronics have been allocated to a classified area by Frank Switz to keep them out of danger as well as preventing them to be scrapped. However, considering how these machines have capabilities of human emotions, they experience trauma and possibly even further cases of other mental disorders. Circus Cailee has been affected the most, her early life as a performer wasn't all well even before the accident. No humans paid attention to her and all the kids had no interest because of the way she looked. The others were busy to spend time with her so they had no way to comfort her when she needed it.
One day, a young boy was heard crying, and Cailee was quick to hearing where he was. The boy was separated from his mother and cried out for her, and when he saw Cailee, he felt uneasy because he wasn't used to being close to robots without his mother. Cailee calmly reassured the young boy and asked him where his mother was, the last time he saw her was in a party room but he doesn't know where. She decided to call security through neurolink technology and asked assistance of finding a lost boy's child. She then slowly took the boy's hand and went out to search for his mother. They continuously searched, but to no avail. Cailee tried to keep the boy entertained with what's around the pizzeria and it seemed to have done the trick, as he is beginning to trust her more, and even smiling a little bit. After a while, they finally found her and reunited them together. The mother was thankful as she tried to look everywhere for her son, and at that moment, Cailee had a feeling she didn't have before, something she couldn't get because of the rejection. She felt happy to know she helped someone.
Because of news spreading around about her heroic actions, people started to pay attention to her and come to see her performances and let kids play all kinds of activities with her. She felt so happy after what seemed like a few weeks of nothing happening when they first opened.

However, a month later, a terrible accident happened involving the killings of the teenagers, and staff had to shut everything down. Everyone was scared after they woke up in a different environment and tried to find answers. Freddo, who was also there said nothing and was looking emotionless, which rose up suspicion through the whole group. They later found out that it was him who caused the accident, and unfortunately, he couldn't explain why because he is under heavy influence that stops him from doing it. The others (except Foxz and Bonnette) started yelling at him furiously about what he has done, but Cailee sat there quietly, mentally destroyed at the realization of her loss with that boy.

It was a few days when they all tried to settle in their new home, but some of them were having nightmares and occasional hallucinations from the past, and Freddo was mysteriously missing while this was occurring, and Shayla was the first to fall under a corrupted virus that messed with her systems and started to go out of control, and it has spread across everyone and soon to affect Cailee. However, her case was different, after they contained Shayla somewhere she couldn't escape, Cailee started having visions of Freddo, except he was more menacing, and has corruption in his eyes. He continuously reminded Cailee of the past and how she wasn't good enough for the public eye and her friends. She started having realistic nightmares even, where she felt so overwhelmed she didn't want to feel anymore, and wanted to be an actual machine. So she destroyed her CPU, however it didn't do anything and she then saw Freddo again, as he corrupted her mind even more. However, she suddenly woke up and realized it was a nightmare. She was horrified and hugged her plushie close to calm her down. She tried sleeping again that night, but that mysterious corrupted version of Freddo still lurks.
