This video is part of a series going over essential match-up info for a given character in SFV. These videos will NOT be comprehensive- there's too much minutia to go over in a video of any reasonable length, and after a point, character specific elements must also be considered, which is beyond the scope of these videos. The intent is that after watching the video, you will:

1) Know the character's punishable (unsafe) moves and know how unsafe they are.

2) Know when the opposing character is at frame advantage and pressing a button is a risk.

3) Understand the (non-obvious, especially) properties of the character's moves, how their v-trigger functions, etc.

When showing things like punishes, I'm not going to do an optimized punish- I'm just trying to illustrate that the move is indeed punishable. It's up to you to find the best punishes for your chosen character.

Frame data is available both 'officially' through the prima guide/app and unofficially from players analyzing the game. There are occasional (very small) discrepancies, and when these have cropped up, I went with the 'official' number. You can find data found by players here: http://tinyurl.com/gm9c7vs

A video aimed more at beginners is a slight departure from what I've done in the past. I plan to continue making SFV content for players of various skill levels, but I will still continue making UMvC3 and Xrd videos as well!

If you find it difficult to understand the video, please watch the two lead-up videos I made to this series:

You surely noticed a short promo for a T-shirt company at the beginning of the vid, which is a side project of mine which may or may not be a complete disaster. If you're at all interested, the website for it is here: http://pressbuttonwin.com

You can find me on twitter here: https://twitter.com/madmrbacon

The song used is Dhalsim's theme from SFV.
