FULL EXPLANATION BELOW!

Quick little tutorial to explain or demonstrate combo scaling in SFV. I didn't want there to be much reading in the video itself so the full explanation is in the description :)

In SFV combo scaling is done per attack, not per hit. So multi-hitting attacks such as Sakura's Shouoken only counts as one attack and doesn't scale per hit. Damage and stun are scaled the same.

The first attack in a combo does 100% damage with each consecutive attack doing 10% less until it gets to 10% damage.
A Crush Counter counts as 2 attacks so the following attack with do 80% instead of 90% (unless use V-Trigger).
V-Trigger cancelling in a combo counts as 2 attacks so first attack will do 100% and next attack following V-Trigger will do 70%.
If you V-Trigger cancel a Crush Counter then you get extra damage scaling from both the Crush Counter and V-Trigger so the next attack will do 60%.
The other exception is a Guard Break, I think they only come from V-Trigger attacks or enhanced moves. A Guard Break essentially counts as 6 attacks so the following attack does 60% damage.

The final thing to mention is that a Critical Art will never do less than 50% damage scaling in a combo, so if you're down to 10% and combo into a Critical Art it will still do 50% damage and not be horribly scaled.

Any questions? Please leave a comment and I'll do my best to answer :)

Any other game mechanics you'd like me to cover in a tutorial video please tell me in the comments!
There's a couple more mechanic or strategy tutorials I want to make so stay tuned!
