There are certain mods that are essential to making the Shadeling who he is. Here are a few of the most important:
1. Ordinator Perk Overhaul - EnaiSiaion
2. Apocalypse Spell Package - EnaiSiaion

ATTACK PATTERNS
1. Tumble Magnet & Cyclonic Rift - This combination is one of my favorites. Tumble Magnet sucks the enemy into the Cyclonic Rift which teleports them back and forth between the nodes doing damage along the way. The crafty mage can use heights to do damage and gravity to drop enemies into the rift creating a "loop of death"!
2. Summon & Frost Runes - Summon is an amazing rune to pair with anything! Shadeling is a frost specialist so I tend to use that most because of its damage output. The summon can be used to drop enemies to their death and has a very long range. Good placement of the rune will allow you to catch multiple enemies in its effect.
3. Hidden Cobra & Frost Nova - This is a great combo for a stealth mage. Hidden Cobra does temporary, illusory damage. It doesn't last long and only works if you can remain hidden so you must be ready to strike! Frost Nova does damage in a bubble around the caster allowing you to hit enemies through walls and floors.
4. Ghost Walk, Shadow Bond & Shattering Crystal - Ghost walk provides several seconds of invisibility (based on character power) and teleports the caster back to the point of origin. Shadow Bond allows the mage to trade places with the target. Casting them in combination will allow you to drop enemies from great heights and teleport you back to safety. Shattering Crystal is an ice bomb that can be planted to trigger remotely.
5. Mind Control, Compelling Whispers & Harrowing Dirge - Mind Control allows the caster to take direct control of enemies making them fight or become the target of others. Compelling Whispers places and enemy in your faction for a period of time. Harrowing Dirge ties all enemies struck together stacking damage between them each time one dies. Used in combination, it is possible to create chain reactions that will kill all of your enemies at once. The more foes are caught in the effect, the higher the damage will stack.

ABOUT SHADELING
Shadeling is a character featured in the ASHES and Shadeling 4 Hire series on CouchWarriorTV. He is a Mage Assassin focusing on Illusion, Destruction and Unarmed Combat. When playing this character the emphasis is always on providing the target with a "Beautiful Death". This means that I focus not on the fastest kill but the most interesting and creative.
