3Shadow Gambit: Zagan's Ritual is an expansion to the real-time strategy game Shadow Gambit: The Cursed Crew. Like the base game, it was developed by Mimimi Games.
The protagonist of Shadow Gambit: Zagan's Ritual is the titular apostate Zagan, a brilliant and ruthless scientist, former Inquisiton Prognosticar wielding mighty dark powers. He convinces the Red Marley crew to set out on a dangerous journey to conduct an occult experiment and tame the Maiden Fire the Inquisition uses against the Cursed.
Shadow Gambit: Zagan's Ritual retains the base game's gameplay mechanics. It introduces six new missions and the titular playable characters. Zagan can drain his enemies' soul energy, immobilize them with the Maiden Fire and corrupt their minds. The expansion also lets us visit his hideout located on a previously unknown island.
Like the protagonist of the second expansion, Yuki's Wish, Zagan can join the Red Marley crew in the base game as well. First, however, we must resurrect the first three characters and complete the Fruits of Her Labor mission on Dread Vine's Cove.
Shadow Gambit: Zagan's Ritual is not a standalone expansion, requiring the base version of Shadow Gambit: The Cursed Crew.
