Shadow Madness is an American developed game in the style of a JRPG created by Craveyard Studios for the Sony PlayStation and released in 1999. It is the labor of love of Paul Reed and more importantly, Ted Woolsey, who is credited with localizing some of Square-Enix's bigger titles of the 90s such as Secret of Mana, Final Fantasy VI and Chrono Trigger.

Shadow Madness places us in a world that has come under threat by an unknown force that is destroying settlements and spreading a plague of madness across the land. We play as Stinger, an average boy who returns home to his hometown to witness it being destroyed by a supernatural explosion, the survivors rendered as mindless, jabbering zombies. He takes it upon himself to figure out just what happened.

Is this game worth playing today? With talent such as Ted Woolsey heading the project you'd assume yes, but just watch my video to find out.
