As hard as I tried to 'Agro launch' or 'Super jump' onto this plateau I always failed in the PS4 version. Turns out it's impossible to reach this area unless you can get high above it and then float down to its center. This requires 'Hawk humping' or 'Hawk riding' or 'Turbo Hawking'... i.e. using a Turbo controller to ride high above the area then drop down with the parachute.

All the rocks surrounding Kegan's rock in the PS4 version have those annoying 'slide back down' surfaces... that is, when you try to jump onto them, Wander just slides back down - Shame on you Bluepoint!

In the PS2/PS3 versions it's much easier to reach this plateau, you just have to Agro launch up there (see video links below).
