A walkthrough of the ZX Spectrum game, Shadow Skimmer. A shoot-em-up from 1987. During a routine inspection of the exterior of an interstellar liner, the ship's computers malfunction and you're trapped outside in your Shadow Skimmer. To return to the safety of the main ship you need to make your way to the main personal hatch at the far end of the mother ship, avoiding the ship's security and defence systems, which cannot be shut down. Due to the difficulty level (even with rollback), an infinite lives POKE was used in this. The game gives you three lives, but four were used.
