We take a journey back to 2005, with Mikey delving into his teenage angst for Shadows very own game. We follow the anti-hero hedgehog in his titular game, without Mikey realising the undertaking that may be. In this volume, Shadow turns his attention to the ARK and what happened there 50 years ago, Shadow then discovers his new role as the ARKs Protector. Then in a new timeline, Shadow begins to listen to the mysterious Black Doom.
