81Shadowgun iPad / iPhone is a gorgeous looking third person shooter very similar to Gears of War for the Xbox 360. The app is universal, so a single purchase gets you versions for both the iPad and iPhone/iPod Touch.

Graphics: Absolutely excellent graphics for an iPad game. Awesome shadowing and lighting effects. A+
Sound: Great fitting music throughout the game that feels just right as you're playing. A
Gameplay: Well done and easy to pick up and play for a beginner. Though coming out of cover doesn't feel as responsive as it should be, everything else feels great. B+
Replay Value: No multiplayer mode hurts (though its supposed to be coming soon), but the single player mode is good enough that you'll want to replay it. B-
