I expected this to be a self-aware meme game or something that would make me grind my teeth in embarrassment, but I was wrong. This has clear effort put into it and it shows. I am usually very apprehensive when it comes to anything horror in Sonic fan games (mostly because they're bad, especially anything Sonic.exe related), but this one is surprisingly good, great even. I genuinely enjoyed it.

While trying to pit horror elements into Sonic the Hedgehog himself seems extremely forced, it actually works surprisingly well for Shadow given his very troubled past.
