Hi,

some information in my description is probably incorrect so I made a couple of updates correcting my inaccurate information.

updated note, there could be luck I don't know about in DKC speedrunning. There could be RNG or luck I am unaware of while speedrunning this game.

Another updated note about the info below, even if my SNES Classic Mini hadn't of powered down when turning off my TV it wouldn't have been a Single Segment Run I don't think. This is because I intended to stop playing briefly. If you stop playing briefly, I don't think it counts as Single Segment Run anymore.

I was speedrunning, (single segment) DKC 101% on my SNES Classic Mini.

I have VASTLY improved from years ago:)

Today 30/8/20, I completed Mine Cart Madness WITH ALL bonuses so far into the game using ONLY 36mins ingame time, my pace was brilliant and MIGHT have been on pace for 51mins or even 50mins 101% game completion. My personal best is 52mins 101% game completion ingame time 'single segment' on SNES Classic Mini. My 52min run had zero deaths so there must have been some hesitation in the run.

Today I was doing 101% 'single segment' on SNES Classic Mini.

DKC 101% has NO luck when speedrunning the game. Anyway, after smashing the time at 36mins, completing Mine Cart Madness with ALL BONUSES in the game SO FAR, disaster struck:( I went 2 check how much 'IGT' I used by stopping at Candy's Save Point and decided 2 take out the rubbish b4 continuing.

Anyway, I turned off my TV 2 protect it from 'Screen Burn' while I intended 2 go outside and take out the rubbish b4 continuing 2 play.

When on the map screen, (not playing a stage or boss fight,) or during the endgame credits after defeating King K. Rool the Ingame timer 'IGT' stops until u enter a stage or boss fight. If u go 2 Funky's Flights or go see Cranky, I don't know if the IGT stops as I haven't tested it but assume it does.

Once I turned off my TV, my SNES Classic Mini ALSO powered down, invalidating my 'single segment' speedrun attempt:(

This was BY FAR MY STRONGEST attempt EVER BY A LONG SHOT!!!! My TV and SNES Classic Mini's programming wrecked no, DESTROYED my beautiful run:(

Absolutely shattered:( My attempt was incredible, had I have known my TV would deactivate my SNES Classic Mini by turning off my TV, I would have briefly left my TV on, absolutely shattered:(
