7Sometimes in Sheltered we have to face big difficulties. On the beginning of the game the biggest problem may be with water and food. We have the food covered with snare traps and a freezer but what to do when there is no water or no rain and we have wait out the Drought ?

Welcome everybody! To Let's play Sheltered - gameplay – part 3. Welcome to the Dyinamites Family Shelter! There is a problem in our shelter as we can’t send an expedition. You see in order to send an expedition in shaltered You need water, not food, not weapons – those are helpful but You can always use Your fists. But water is essential without it you can’t send an expedition and the bigger and longer the expedition will be the more water you will need to be send. Right now since the previous episode of Sheltered we are in the Drought season and we can’t progress any where for now. So for start we can deal with a little bit of problems in our shelter and try to expand it using the resources we have already managed to gather. Since the water issue right now in Sheltered is that we don’t have any rain – how we can deal with it ? How can we summon rain. Well in the later parts of Sheltered there is a possibility to make an device that will make water out of air but in the beginning stage of Sheltered only rains can help us, or if you are very lucky some traders may have water. But that’s a true dream as the traders don’t come often to our shelter without the improvement radio. So for now we have to deal with what we can – lets for start focus on makeing a good food supply with the freezer and snare traps on the top of our shelter we should have more – or less unlimited amount of food in Sheltered. The only problem is the freezer needs to be powered by the generator otherwise all the food will go to waste and we can only after that throw it out. Next we can make a little bit improvements to the beds so that our family can get a better sleep and faster regenerate energy levels. AS soon as rain will start we need to send an expedition to the nearby town looking for materials for more upgrades to the shelter. Digging out new rooms and making better furniture. The next stage of our shelter should be new storage. After each expedition in sheltered we will acquire a good amount of resources if we had a decent bags for our party as well as good supply of water to send them to the town where we can find weapons, ammunition, tools for the work bench, parts for the camper and medicines for the first aid such as anti-rads or antibiotics. As soon as the party will find plastics we should take it back to the shelter. At the beginning of each family of shaltered a good idea is to focus first on water and food even if You won’t be able later to find a good amount of resources you can always leave somebody in the shelter and use the radio to summon the traders and trade the water and food for more useful items for constructing and expanding the shelter. Having at least three or four water buts as you can store more water of trading. Making a better shelf for the food or trying to capture wild animals using the snare traps nad the freezer is also a good way to get trading sources. If however you prefer to keep them for your own family in shaltered remember there are other items you can use for trading such as weapons, books, toys nad medkits those are always welcome by traders in the apocalyptic world of shaltered.
