Whitechapel at early morning hours, poor Marry Ann “Polly” Nichols is murdered in Buck’s Row. This ghastly murder caught the eye of Sherlock Holmes, and it is time to solve the mystery of the Jack the Ripper.

Definitely more darker and sinister Sherlock Holmes game compared to Awaken and Nemesis. As you play Holmes you search Whitechapel area and face human suffering and misery. With this backdrop you have series of violent murders to solve with help of the Watson and inspector Abberline, who isn’t too keen of the idea of Holmes sticking his nose to the investigation.

Sherlock Holmes versus Jack the Ripper was released in the 2009 and is fifth Sherlock Holmes game from Frogwares. Game can be played first- or third-person view as Holmes and Watson. Game takes place around the murders perpetrated by Jack the Ripper that occurred in Whitechapel from 31 August 1888 to 9 November 1888. Unlike Awaken and Nemesis, there is no remaster of the game.
