AUTHOR'S NOTES:
The Echo Building is quite possibly the Keio building that is part of Kichijoji Station. If you try and enter the Echo Building from the North, you get a short scene where you're told the Kichijoji Station is currently closed, which supports the idea that they are one and the same. The devs made mention to an empty, but large building under construction during their time in the area, called the Echo Building but searching for that location in the present just pulls up Big Echo, which is a popular karaoke room chain.
If you're unlucky enough not to get Bigfoot or Brownie here, and instead get a Fiend, I would have to say just give up and die quickly. You cannot beat them at this level. They aren't excessively hard, but you wil be one-shot at this point in the game.
Meta Douman is based on an onmyouji (or spiritual Daoist leader) from Japanese history, who is often mysticized for his rivalry with Abe no Seimei.
Pascal in the PC Engine and the Sega-CD version of this game is an actual creature that can fight alongside you instead of a Cerberus and received special artwork for those games. However, since the Super Famicom, Gameboy Advance, PlayStation, and by extension, the iOS and Switch ports are all considered the true cannon of events, I will be neglecting those differences in my commentary in the video series.

I really like this map, since it's one hundred percent accurate... Although 4 should be "Echo Building" since the Building in question was called the Echo Building by the devs.
