This is a long game and this the final part of a 13 part playthrough.

The epic showdown with Oda Nobunaga happens as soon as the fool rejects my alliance. Though I am a rank behind he has split his forces which leaves me in a strong numbers advantage. I take their first territory in April and finish him off in June. Anything after that is just cleanup. I have no idea what is up with the bizarre graphical glitches during the final battles, but it didn't seem to affect anything other than the display of certain numbers, so I just kept going.
