For best results view at 1080p60fps. It's another episode of Utterly Pointless Comparison! This time I take a look at the arcade and Sega Master System (SMS) versions of the very first Shinobi. No, it's not super close, but they do have all the same levels and most of the same enemies! It's also interesting to see the gameplay differences and discuss what could have been done differently.

Yeah this is a complete game (longplay) video showing the entirety of both versions minus a few bonus rounds from the SMS version I cut for time.

Oh yeah, I forgot to correct it in video, but the mission 4 boss (Lobster) area also scrolls. Only the first three don't. I added some cards during the relevant parts of the video after I noticed my stupidity on my final watch of the video after upload.
