Best Hack of Shinobi 3! If anyone re-released this game I would want something like this! They separate out the different attacks and blocks to separate buttons in the options. You can select the normal 3 button but the 6 button is what you want. You can have a button each for Jump, slash, shurikin, guard, and ninjitsu. Extremely well done hack. I highly recommend this if you like this game!

The range and effectiveness varies on the various attacks. Crouching slash has the best range of the slash moves. The standing one is good, but some enemies seem to not get hit like the first mini-boss sometimes. The running slash is great but it requires pretty good timing on moving targets. You can also use the slash move to destroy most projectiles.

The only thing I would want modified would be if you could hold any of the attack buttons and then it would block like normal. Since holding the attack button does nothing anyway. Instead of having to move a finger it would be on the same position.
