Shinobi Part 1 (PAL) On SEGA Master System
Shinobi Part 1 (PAL) On SEGA Master System
The original 1987 arcade hit makes it's way onto the 8-bit SEGA Master System console.
The name ''Shinobi'' means stealth. It's one of the qualities that Joe has learned in a lifetime of training in a discipline passed on in his family from father to son over the decades...Ninijutsu.
In this glorious original game you play as the protagonist Joe Musashi, the master Ninja. Your hands and feet are lethal. With shuriken, sword, nunchaku and other weapons, you are virtually unstoppable. You're also a deep cover agent for the government...called on when the fate of nations is at stake.
This time you must battle the Ring of Five, a terrorist network led by five evil ninjas with powers as strong as your own!
The Ring of Five has kidnapped the children of the world's leaders and are holding them hostage in different locations around the world. Each is guarded by karate thugs, deadly mercenaries and the meanest martial artists in the world.
You have five missions. In each you must rescue the hostages, take out the Ring of Five's henchmen and defeat a leader of the Ring of Five. They have might on their side. But prove your skill with the shuriken and you will earn Ninja Magic to aid you.
ROUND 1: KEN OH - (3 STAGES)
To attract the western market, SEGA originally used American culture in alot of the original stages in the Arcade release such as cities, towns and even posters of Marilyn Monroe on the wall in one of the stages which were also ported onto the SEGA Master System home release version. The main character Joe Musashi was also originally designed to look American and not Japanese. The battle begins here in New York city where gangsters and gunmen desperately try to stop Musashi, after clearing the city and their hideout the boss comes out to finish him off.
ROUND 2: BLACK TURTLE - (4 STAGES)
Musashi's battle with his enemies eventually leads him to the open harbour where more villians will try to stop him, if Joe is successful at destroying them he will meet the next boss, a huge helicopter with an endless supply of Ninjas.
Enjoy!
