all i wanted was the dunsparce swarm and it gives me a shiny meditite

2 random encounter shinies in such a short span of time is extremely odd to me but the internet is still telling me it is a 1/4096 chance???

this is the tenth random encounter shiny I have had in my whole life!!! pre gen 6 it was 1/8192 and gen 6 and beyond it is 1/4096; six of those encounters were pre gen 6

8102 x 6 = 49,152
4096 x 4 = 16,384
49,152 + 16,384 = 65,356

based on this can I reasonably calculate that I have had 65,356 random wild encounters in my pokemon lifetime (aside from gen 1 encounters)? maybe probability doesn't work like that lol

also have independently contracted pokerus 2 times which is approximately 1/21845, times 2 is 43,690, but I think that would overlap with the shiny odds
