Shipwrecked 64 - weird rabbit hole of a video game (teddyras)
7Honestly this game became quite cool when I figured it out, but it got ruined for me with bad sound design. In post production I figured out these sounds played a lot lower for the stream, at about like -6 decibels, but in OBS, I'm lowering the game's sound by 9 decibels, so they were much louder for me, like above 0. The problem is with how they made the sounds as well cause they just sound loud; probably an issue with LUFS and how their audio designer made the sounds, it's obnoxious and will still sound loud even with lowered volume. Anyway, was gonna beat this game on stream, usually I do, but like it's just too much when you get screamers just for an enemy being near you, not even getting caught, like it's not even a punishment for a failure state. And the game coming with no sound options just makes it too much. Anyway, enough ranting about volume issues as a streamer and audio engineering and shit, game is cool if you can put up with that, I'm sure there's videos on this website that go into this game in more detail if you wanna look it up.
