Immediately, I think most people would think Mega Man. It's not far off, but it's not quite the same. I did not realize in that second stage that I was taking damage from the walls, so double-failure from me.
I dunno why the TG-16 didn't just ship with an arcade stick the same way the Neo Geo did. It makes a lot of sense as nearly every game in the library plays better with one.
