Short-Bits - (Episode 6): "The concept of this visual novel seems awfully familiar..."
1"Augmented Reality?" "Becoming the best trainer?" "Collecting & Battling many species of dragons?" The concept of this game alone may sound like a spoof of "Pokemon GO!", but don't let that fool you for a mere second! This game touches upon more than just the mere concept of catching & battling people... it actually dives into the social aspect of it all without going too over-the-top with the storytelling. (Although things DO get a bit wild once you eventually run into some of the zany cast of characters along the way...)
As a girl named Dulce, you've just received a phone after saving up a lot of money in order to participate in the latest social craze called: "Dragon Connection (DragCo)": An augmented reality game that allows you to do what I literally just listed in the paragraph above. Though she IS a bit behind when it comes to said craze (and she didn't even bother checking the instruction manual for the game first), she's quick to catch up thanks to her ongoing circle of new friends, which slowly builds up her collection of dragons along the way.
As her summer vacation continues, so will the relationships she has with some of her new friends. [And yeah, there is a bit of LGBT stuff in the game, but it's all optional. Kinda.] Will you have what it takes to be the very best that no one ever was? Or will the Pokemon References somehow continue to make this game feel edgier than a copy of "Shadow the Hedgehog"?
