-Game: Virtua Fighter 5 is the fifth installment in Sega's Virtua Fighter series of arcade fighting games. The original version was released on the Sega Lindbergh arcade system board. The first location tests took place on November 26, 2005 leading to the official release on July 12, 2006, in Japanese arcades. An export version, based on Version B, was released to arcades outside of Japan in February 2007.
-About the Game: Virtua Fighter 5 Final Showdown was an update to Virtua Fighter 5. It includes all of the new additions in Virtua Fighter 5 R, such as the new character Jean Kujo and the return of Taka-Arashi, as well as new stages, costumes, and animations. It was released to Japanese arcades on July 29th 2010, and was released as a downloadable title for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in June 2012.
-Gameplay: There are two difficulties for Virtua 5: Final Showdown: Easy and Normal. The difficulty is indicated by the machine. When a coin is inserted, the player has 15 seconds to choose a character. After this, they are subjected to battles against six separate opponents. The opponents in question are selected by a "route" to the final round, which is randomly determined. Each battle is made up of up to 3 rounds: the first character to two rounds wins. After winning the final round, there is a "Bonus Round" against superboss Dural.
